JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Under the guidance of the prison inspector, you as a client officer will be responsible for the overall client work. This means ensuring the quality of the work with clients' execution planning, as well as preparing and making decisions according to prison and administrative laws in accordance with delegation. Your role includes making assessments based on applicable regulations, guidelines, and practices, preparing decision-making materials for the prison inspector, and continuously mentoring and training staff in the client process. The role also involves participation in collegial discussions and collaboration with probation services and other relevant authorities.

As a person, you are secure, stable, and can distinguish between the personal and professional. You are flexible and easily adapt to current circumstances and are responsive to the needs of the organization.

You are also aware of and understand how background, culture, and group affiliation affect yourself and others. We are looking for someone who has:
- A university or college degree in law, education, or behavioral sciences, or other education/experience that the Swedish Prison and Probation Service deems equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience in leading others in tasks.
- Very good written and oral communication skills in Swedish.
It is an advantage if you have:
- The Swedish Prison and Probation Service's basic training.
- Leadership training.
- Experience as a client officer within the Swedish Prison and Probation Service.
- Experience in social work or work within another authority in the legal chain.
- Knowledge and experience in case handling within relevant legislation.
- Good administrative law knowledge.
